How do I upload my video and photos?
You can upload media files one-by-one by using the Simple browser method. This method can be used easily by clicking on the browse button and selecting the video or photo you would like to upload - no additional software is required.

What video formats can I upload?
The supported formats for video are Quicktime (MOV), Windows Media (WMV), Audio Video Interweave (AVI), MPEG 1, MPEG 2 and MPEG 4. Once videos are uploaded, they are encoded into Flash.

Why can't I upload my video or photos to the Gallery?
The most common reason for failed uploads is a temporary network problem. If you can't upload using any of our methods but you've been able to upload in the past, a network issue is the most likely cause. Please wait a few hours and try your upload again.

If you still can't upload or never have been able to, here are a few things you can check before contacting Customer Service.

Internet Explorer 6.0:
In order to successfully use Internet Explorer 6.0 to upload to the Gallery, you must ensure that all cookies from the Gallery are accepted. We ask you to accept our Web site cookies so navigation within our pages is more stable. If you choose to decline our cookies, Internet Explorer 6.0 will not work. Please follow these steps to change the way Internet Explorer 6.0 handles cookies from the Gallery:
      
  1. Go to the Tools menu and select "Internet Options".
  2.   
  3. Click the "Privacy" tab.
  4.   
  5. Click "Default".
  6.   
  7. Move the slider all the way down to the bottom. It should read "Accept All Cookies".
  8.   
  9. Click "Apply", then click "OK" and restart your browser.
How many videos or photos can I upload?
Users can upload as many videos or photos as they want. We do not have any restrictions about how many videos or photos you can upload.

How long does it take to upload a video/photo?
The time is takes to upload a media file really depends on how big the file is and how fast your Internet connection is.

How long does video/photo approval take?
Approval normally takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, but can take up to 24 hours. We try to approve all content in a timely manner, however content that is uploaded after midnight may not be approved until the morning. We ask that you be patient in this process as we are trying to make sure that our users do not have their time wasted with any video or photos that are not working.

Can I upload copyrighted material?
We respect copyright holders rights and do not allow non-promotional copyrighted material. You can report any copyright abuse to us via our contact form and we will review any cases promptly for possible removal from the site.

Why would my video/photo not get approved?
If the video or photo that you uploaded violates any of our policies, it will not be approved for use on the site. Additionally if there are any encoding or upload issues, we will notify you and may need you to re-upload your file. Or it may be something that we have our engineering team look at, but this may delay your media from going live. We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may cause.
